Clark D. Fisher, 83, of Temperance, MI,  passed away in his home peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 2, 2017.  He was born on January 25, 1934, in L’Anse, MI. to Ralph and Orpha (Scott) Fisher and was a graduate of Roscommon High School in 1952.  He was honored to have served his country in the United States Army teaching Tank Gunnery at West Point.  Clark graduated from Michigan State University in 1961, majoring in criminal law.  Following graduation, Clark was accepted into the United States Secret Service (U.S.S.S.) proudly serving for 28 years.  During his career with the U.S.S.S he was assigned to the Indianapolis office, The White House, the Intelligence Division and the Toledo office.  Throughout the summer of 1963, he was assigned to President John F. Kennedy’s detail until November 1, 1963.    Clark assisted with the investigation of President Kennedy’s assassination. Following Kennedy, he protected all of the Presidents through President Reagan, at one point or another. He married Charlotte Toth on April 8, 1961, enjoying 56 wonderful years together, traveling extensively throughout Canada and the United States, including Hawaii and a 6 week voyage in Alaska.

Left to cherish his memory are his adoring wife, Charlotte and their four daughters, Lori (Andrew) Magrum, Linda (Michael) Little, Lisa (Brian) Hoskins and Kelly (Kenneth) Tecmire; best canine buddy, Walker, 14 grandchildren,  5  great grandchildren and brother, James Fisher. He is preceded in death by twin sons, Bradley and Brian, four brothers, and one sister.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Sunday, August 6, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 7, 2017.   Pastor Todd Greenman, officiating.  Interment will follow at Bedford Memorial Gardens, Temperance, MI. A special thanks to the physicians, nurses and staff at the ProMedica Hickman Cancer Center and ProMedica Hospice for their excellent care and compassion of Clark.
